The pre- and post-processing library and the installation scripts require an installation of Python 3.
On most Unix-like systems, Python and below-mentioned modules can be installed from the package manager (e.g. APT or yum on Linux, Homebrew on macOS). Alternatively, tools such as Anaconda and pip can be used.
Apart from the plain Python interpreter, some additional modules are needed.
Almost all tools depend on NumPy.
Some tools require SciPy.
